Self defense, why are they angry with her?

Faye Wilson from Buckie was only 16 when she was raped by a friend in the small Moray town. It took her five years to pluck up the courage to report the crime, by which time it was too late for police to gather the evidence they needed for a prosecution.

You can watch Faye's video and read some of the scathing comments at

http://budurl.com/rape

Before Christmas we put out a number of free gifts which really proved how vulnerable you can feel on the streets.

We had a Safety Protocol guide showing how useless attack alarms are, a free teleseminar explaining 4 ways a mobile phone can save your life, some scary survey results that revealed more than half the people who'll read this have already been accosted, and an audio interview with my Canary Wharf safety expert Garth. This all culminated in the pre-Christmas live "A Day Of Your Life That could Save Your Life" workshop.

I've had loads of emails from people asking if there's going to be another live event since they missed the last one, they still want to go out at night and let's be honest - the knife carrying nutters are still out there.

We had no idea it'd be this controversial. Just wanted to say that I've been going through them all and I've been having a great time answering questions. So if I haven't got back to you yet, please forgive me. I'll answer as soon as I can.

And just in case you missed any of the free tips, you can still pick them up here:

http://www.pick-up-your-gift.com/voptin/safety

If you still want to, you can join Garth and the rest of us on Sunday the 21st of February but there are only 6 places left. You won't be Robocop, but just one takeaway tip might buy you precious getaway time...or let you walk confidently to your car.

Maybe you never get intimidated, and this isn't for you, but if you do have any questions about this event, please email me at jcalchemy@gmail.com

Let's be careful out there,

Jonathan

Workplace safety - don't give them the satisfaction

7 days days ago I sent out an email asking you to take
part in our anonymous Personal Safety Survey... and I just
can't believe the response! But then we are in arguably
the most dangerous season of the year for this sort of thing.

You'll probably be out more than usual, drinking more,
travelling more and often laden down with presents, valuables
and credit cards. And often in the dark...

After looking at literally ALL 720 votes that we received,
we learned that

67% are female
The average age is 47
63% HAVE ALREADY BEEN threatened or attacked!!

What would you do? - people are keen to know what to
do if they [or their spouse or their kids] were physically
threatened, followed or harassed on a train.

So what we've done is answered all those questions you asked -
tips to boost your confidence and have you walking tall. This
is something we can ALL learn from.

In fact, I have created a valuable Safety Protocol that reveals
8 crucial steps that you MUST TAKE (AND VERY FEW ACTUALLY DO)
to avoid looking vulnerable or being picked out as a victim.

Get Limited Time Access Here:

Wait till you read the 4 LIFE-SAVING tricks you can do with
a mobile phone!

Now maybe this isn't for you - maybe you go everywhere you want
and NEVER feel intimidated by anyone. So perhaps this isn't for
you, but feel free to pass this email on to friends or family.

What's more, at the end of page 19 we put a link to ANOTHER page
where you can listen to my Safety Expert partner's radio interview.

Take care,

Jonathan

P.S. You won't be Robocop this Xmas, but you CAN get the 19
page Safety Protocol at

Quick favour to ask of you...

Today is the last day of National Rape Awareness Week. Many police forces
record an increase in sex attacks over the festive period as thousands of
people head to pubs, bars and clubs.

As a therapist and trainer with mainly female clients, I often help women
with self-confidence and intimacy issues, and these usually come from scary
situations that they found themselves in.

I'm really close to announcing something that will tackle this head on as
we go into this time of year. I want to help people be more assertive,
feel safe on the streets and get their sense of power back.

To do that I have to ask you a couple of quick questions about your
personal safety when you're out and about. Can you help me out? I want to
make sure that I'm helping the most people, and it is completely anonymous.

You can answer the quick quiz here:

Thanks in advance, I really appreciate it.

Take care,

Jonathan

P.S. By the way, I was told that survey responders should never be bribed
to get the most accurate results. Otherwise, I'd send you some chocolate!
:)

Once again, the quiz is at
