Training NLP - If you can feel it, you can heal it
I'm working on a new "method" [not even sure that's the right word, cos it's bigger than that] that will make a lot of self help, mind techniques pretty much obsolete. Bold statement I know...
One recurring problem is the tendency for mental approaches to teach you to close your eyes and make a picture, visualise your goal or use affirmations "I like myself, I like myself, I sodding like myself". My point is, you're going into silence WITH something.
Now I have 2 main thrusts to my dissatisfaction with "mind techniques", and they are:
1] Many people have read spiritual books, attended seminars, meditated, incanted and tithed and seen ZERO sustained, tangible results
2] I have more books on visualisation than I ever visualised I'd have
Now as a Trainer of NLP, Huna, Time Line Therapy and Hypnosis this is a bitter pill to swallow. So I'm on a mission to get to the root of it, and I'm getting somewhere...
Rather than go into the silence WITH something, surrender and start listening, rather than pleading and waiting.
In the Self-Identity Through Ho'o Pono Pono method promoted in Joe Vitale's book "Zero limits" [which I love by the way, but as a Star Wars fan I'm nervous about the SITH part...] one is supposed to say "I'm sorry, please forgive me" whenever there's negativity/lack/pain.
The idea is that there's repentance and accepting responsibility for creating the circumstances in your universe, by acknowledging that something has gotten inside you. You "caught" the limiting programme, like a cold
The above phrase tells the Divine that you want forgiveness for yourself, then "thank you" expresses gratitude and then the faith that it'll get resolved. "I love you" brings in the aloha of your Higher Self.
This sounds like a plan, and I used it for many months, and it seemed to get results in the tangible, physical world of form. However, I now feel its a bit clunky and there's a better, easier and faster way.
Stay tuned...

Training NLP - I don't mind and it doesn't matter

The voice in your head isn't you.
Ever thought about that?
The voice is your mind, and you are more than just your mind. You are the awareness that you're aware with. So you witness your mind and its thinking.
If you ever hear yourself say "I'm stupid" change it to "My thinking is stupid" Makes a huge difference, and it's actually more TRUE.
In the 3 minds model that I teach [conscious, unsconscious and Higher Self] the internal chatter would be your conscious mind. The unconscious doesn't do language - it does pictures and feelings. And Higher Self? Well, it's your connection with Spirit, or Divinity.
Listen, you can think positive thoughts of abundance all you like and still be broke. Its your unconscious mind that creates and manifests. If your unconscious mind has feelings and complexes around poverty or success, you'll witness the 3D projection of that. As within, so without.
Now scientists have measured [who are these people?] that the unconscious mind is being bombarded with over 2 million bits of information per second. Yet your conscious mind can only handle about 134 bits per second. What does that mean?
It means there's WAY more going on than you know... right now. In fact it's impossible to be aware of everything that's going on in this moment. Therefore, if you're not aware of it, how can you expect to control it?
So let's leave you with a thought:
You can choose what you want, but you have to let go of whether you manifest it or not.
Let me know [your conscious mind's] thoughts...

More Gifts For Training NLP
As a fellow self-improvement fan, I have some cool gifts for you.
250 people already grabbed last week's free video and e-course, so in case you missed it, you can still get them for now at
http://budurl.com/ZentationIgnite
Now, not sure if you're a fan of New Years resolutions or not, but its March already and I wondered how your goals are going? Have things improved since Christmas?
My best students often ask for support but there's only so many folk I can teach at a time, and only the ones who are deadly serious about having more fun, more freedom and more confidence.
Whining and complaining won't make it better, but taking action will. Einstein said that [or something close!] After 18 years helping people, I've nailed the real reasons people why people talk a good game, as well as the most popular areas to change.
So I've come up with something that I think you'll use to make your life easier. It might not be for you, but take a look anyway:
http://budurl.com/C1Thing
You can also email me and tell me how things are going, and there's a great prize for the winning entry...
Enjoy!
Jonathan

NLP courses - evolution of a Practitioner
"Let go of your ego and your ego's desires, and be guided by the Divine" - anon
Typically when a new student joins one on my courses while I'm training NLP, they go through 4 stages:
1] Victim mentality - they start off feeling powerless, at the effect of circumstances in their lives, complaining and protesting, fighting authority yet nothing changes. It's always everyone else's fault - the economy, the government, their parents, their education, blah blah blah.
These guys don't come on NLP courses, though occassionally they are SENT!
2] Seizing control - reading a book, or listening to a cd, or hearing a speaker or trainer wakes them up and challenges them to look again. The student learns about intention, visualisation and the crucial need for action. Things then start to get slightly better and they get glimpses of magic in their lives - synchronicity, manifestation, coincidence
Can you relate to this?
3] They wake up - unplug from the Matrix, remove the shroud, and finally part the curtain. They realise that intentions are limitations, that "attraction" and "intention" suggest a gap, and there is no gap.
The student starts to tap into their latent power, but they still get frustrated at things in the world of physical form that they can't seem to control - money, bodyweight, health.
4] Surrender and silence - They stop striving and efforting and instad go silent. Surrender to the Higher Self/Spirit/God/Quantum Field/I'o/insert your label of choice here.
If you let go and trust [as amply described in Beck and Cowen's Spiral Dynamics - see http://www.thelatentpowerofyou.com ] and evolve from level 5 to level 6. Connect with the Higher Self, get inspired and act on it. The student's world fills with awe and wonder and gratitude. And there's no going back...
So what stage are you at, or have you realised yet that in fact there are no stages...?

Training NLP and Huna - free will or free won't
"Whatever you believe - that belief will work for you"
I read this in Joe Vitale's book Zero Limits.
Your belief sets the framework for your experiences, and that helps all of the things you prceive to make sense to you. And when things come into your awareness that don't match your beliefs, you'll find a way to make it fit by rationalising it, or you'll end up taking drugs!
The problem is that our minds get in the way of the natural flow of things. If the conscious mind were to acknowledge the existence of spirit, it would know that its doomed and that it's no longer needed.
It can't stand that thought, so to justify its existence it creates sophisticated problems and addictions which need to be solved and puzzled out, by none other than your CONSCIOUS MIND! But all the while your mind is preventing you from savouring the peace and stillness that's available to you in the moment.
So all the therapy, complementary and alternative "interventions" are designed to clear the fog and get past this tricksy rascal.
The truth is, you have a gift inside you - a latent power or talent that lives within. Eventually you'll become increasingly aware of what it is, and you'll either embrace it or label it as your curse.
Once you've judged it good or bad, you make it so.
Bad = drugs, addictions, therapy as you struggle to hide/handle/release/silence/accept it.
Good = embrace it, let it shine, allow it to come out to play
It's a case of free will or free won't...
This even applies to food. Your beliefs about what you eat determine the results it has on your physical body. It's not unhealthy food that's dangerous, it's unhealthy associations to that food.
We all know of cases where people live long lives smoking, drinking or eating salt and sugar and they're still going strong at 90 years old. So it can't always be nutrition.
"Nothing has any meaning bar the meaning you give it" said Tony Robbins.
So it's not the food that's dangerous, it's the dangerous thoughts you have around the food that are dangerous!
Fascinating concepts, eh?
See, you cam't predict your next thought, can you? Try. I'll wait here for a moment while you do that...
See? You can't. You can verbalise it once you witness it, but you're not generating your thinking consciously. You notice it coming through [like a ticker tape or scrolling news headlines] and then choose to act on it, or not.
So this article will speak to you where you are right now. And you'll either reject it or embrace it. Free will or free won't.
Comments are welcome below...

Self defense, why are they angry with her?
Faye Wilson from Buckie was only 16 when she was raped by a friend in the small Moray town. It took her five years to pluck up the courage to report the crime, by which time it was too late for police to gather the evidence they needed for a prosecution.
You can watch Faye's video and read some of the scathing comments at
http://budurl.com/rape
Before Christmas we put out a number of free gifts which really proved how vulnerable you can feel on the streets.
We had a Safety Protocol guide showing how useless attack alarms are, a free teleseminar explaining 4 ways a mobile phone can save your life, some scary survey results that revealed more than half the people who'll read this have already been accosted, and an audio interview with my Canary Wharf safety expert Garth. This all culminated in the pre-Christmas live "A Day Of Your Life That could Save Your Life" workshop.
I've had loads of emails from people asking if there's going to be another live event since they missed the last one, they still want to go out at night and let's be honest - the knife carrying nutters are still out there.
We had no idea it'd be this controversial. Just wanted to say that I've been going through them all and I've been having a great time answering questions. So if I haven't got back to you yet, please forgive me. I'll answer as soon as I can.
And just in case you missed any of the free tips, you can still pick them up here:
http://www.pick-up-your-gift.com/voptin/safety
If you still want to, you can join Garth and the rest of us on Sunday the 21st of February but there are only 6 places left. You won't be Robocop, but just one takeaway tip might buy you precious getaway time...or let you walk confidently to your car.
Maybe you never get intimidated, and this isn't for you, but if you do have any questions about this event, please email me at jcalchemy@gmail.com
Let's be careful out there,
Jonathan

Zero limits - training NLP and Hawaiian Huna
Continuing my review of the book Zero limits by Joe Vitale and Dr Hew Len, I really enjoyed the following insight:
that at any one moment in time, your thoughts are either divine inspiration ideas and ahas, or replayed memories compared to things you've experienced in your past.
Now add to that all of this is "witnessed" by a collective mind, so you're sharing past memories with other people. Millions of people share the past after-image of 9/11, or the death of John Lennon for example.
You can choose how you want to respond to these streaming images - much like a breaking news ticker tape on the tv - but you don't get to decide how to respond. Divinity does that. The outcome will be divinely decided, no matter what you choose.
That brings up issues around pre-destination, fate and personal choice. Hmmm.
Here's a simple way to look at it - whatever event is occurring in your world, if you're aware of it, then its in your experience. And if its not positive, then you have some clearing to do. But as its a collective mind, when you clean it up, it cleans up in everyone else as well. At least, that's the theory.
Your beleifs create the way your life is, not the other way aroiund. You are the architect, projectig your blueprint out into 3D constructs moment to moment. You're an expert at manifestation - you're doing it right now as you read this.
And your constructs are coming from one of 2 sources - either divine inspiration, or replayed memories. When inspiration come in, and you start thinking about it, then you are comparing the inspiration to an old memory. But when you're "at zero"you only do what is there for you to do.
Each of us has an instrument to play. We get into trouble when we neglect to play it, or we think someone else has a better one. Your conscious mind will try to understand it, but for every bit it comprehends, there's 14,925 bits its not getting
its head around.
Memories can keep money away. If you're completely clear about money then you'll have it.
In therapy, the client tells the therapist their conscious interpretation of events, but what's actually happening is out of their awareness. Its unconscious. But telling the story is the starting place. Therapists think they are there to help
people - actually their job is to heal themselves of the programs that they see running in their clients. As the memories get cleared in the therapist, they get cancelled in the patient. The technique or approach you use is pretty much irrelevant, just love the person. They are a mirror of you - you're sharing a joint experience. Clear the shared experience and you both heal.
Puts a different slant on things now, doesn't it?

Training NLP And Free Hawaiian Huna
When you read personal development books, listen to cd's or go to workshops and trainings, you're usually given thin one-liners and weak, mental exercises that give you a temporary boost in the training room, but they fall flat out here in the real world.
And if you're not aware of all the various routes open to you right now, then how can you possibly know which path is right for you?
How can you evolve all 4 areas of your life - physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually - when you're only being taught ONE? That's why it hasn't worked for you as well as you'd hoped.
For real change in the real world you need:
Spiritual connection and the ability to make cool stuff happen
Mental tools for peace of mind and self control
Emotional clearance techniques that offer you freedom from the past
AND physical work to help you get healthy and buzzing with energy, but also
to attract physical things like money, houses, toys and people.
You can have all 4 aspects in bite sized chunks, in small groups with a money back guarantee. That's why I don't offer just one type of training - I've been involved with the self-help industry for 18 years and I've tried nearly everything. Now I share the best of all I know, and I'm opening the doors again this weekend on my next NLP and HGE Master Practitioner Certification called "Deep Impact".
Look at just how many NLP Master Practitioner courses there are out there to choose from....scores of them! But have you ever asked yourself why?
Because its such a valuable and immediately useful toolbox of skills that help you change yourself and others, AND because it's such an evolutionary LEAP forward for the student.
When you're passionate about your personal development, you want to know all of your choices, unless you're happy with the same old rehashed material...
If you have completed an NLP Practitioner course, but you haven't really used your NLP knowledge in the real world, you need to do Master Prac so it really becomes WHO you are, not something you do.
If you want a one stop shop with an all-encompassing approach, that gets bottom line results in the real world, then watch the videos at
http://www.theNLPcourse.com
Hope you can join us,
Jonathan
P.S. I've just "stacked the cool" by adding a Huna training into the bargain. Read all about it at
http:/www.theNLPcourse.com

Training NLP and Huna - Best Book Of 2009?

Zero Limits - Joe Vitale and Dr Hew Len
The "zero" in the title is a state of being - when you are at zero, everything is available. You let go of the mental rubbish and become empty, and only then can you download inspiration.
We're so far away from zero in everyday life. When the conscious mind gets hooked on thinking its stuck, it only gets more stuck.
Now this reminds me of something that Byron Katie says - Remember to substitue the words "my thinking" for the word "I". So instead of saying "That's too hard for me, I can't see myself doing that" what we're really saying is "That's too hard for my thinking, my thinking can't see me doing that"
Like if you have an issue with someone, it's not them you have the issue with - its your memory of them in your thinking.
So the whole point of this book is to use an ancient Hawaiian method to clean up your thinking. If a problem thought is still there after repeated clearings, then you have to take action on it in the physical plane - make amends, say sorry, talk turkey, make good, bury the hatchet.
Extending this idea further into the therapy world, this suggests that the therapist shares the same erroneous thoughts in their memories as their clients do. Its a collective unconscious.
Even the law of attraction gets hammered in this book - intentions are lmitations. Just another example of resistance. The minute you have an intention you have a gap. Division. Seperateness. In spirit, there is no seperateness, no division. Therefore Divinity doesn't respond to your intentions.
That explains why a lot of visualisation and goal setting techniques haven't worked for you.
It also ties in nicely with my new "True Silence" method that I'm teaching on my current courses, which is making a lot of other techniques OBSOLETE...
Evolution in action - I love it!
